2015 American Hero Awards Sponsored by Trojan Labor

The 10th Annual American Hero Awards sponsored by Trojan Labor were held on Tuesday May 5th, 2015. The ceremony was held on the USS Yorktown at Patriot’s Point in Mt. Pleasant, SC. The Ultimate Hero Award was presented to the family of Specialist Joseph Caron. Sergeant

Members of local government and Veteran’s Affairs were in attendance. The guest speaker was Medal of Honor tempstaffinghero8recipient Major General James Livingston USMC (ret.). He was introduced by Mt Pleasant Town Councilman Ken Glasson.

Also in attendance were the first and second place winners of the First Annual American Hero Awards Student Essay and Art Contest for 2nd-6th grade students. Two students read their essays and two student’s had their artwork displayed.

The month of May is National Military Appreciation Month, it is a time for us all to think about the sacrifice made by our military. Trojan Labor, Hire Quest, and the Higher Quest Foundation would like to say thank you to active duty personnel in all branches of the services, veterans, and the families of the men and women who have served our country.
